To get a score I counted, from top (1) to bottom (5) the top 5 you selected. A 1st scores 5 and a 5th scores 1. After reversing those numbers to count scores I then added the no. of times it appears. So, for example, if Furries got 5+3+2+4 this would first translate as 1+3+4+2 = 10 + 4 for no. of times = 14 as score. This is to prevent errors in mean totals or modal totals without resorting to average amounts because the markings are individually based and then attributed as a combined mathematical statistic.

Some catagories have been merged because saying 'oral' and 'blowjob' are somewhat erroneous. It's a tough decision to call. Plus there were some where ordering was not recorded. It ends up sounding like bias, I know, but I did my best. To compensate lemme state I hate Futanari with a passion: only Poison, from Final Fight, should have a cock. However it turns out a lot of people disagree and love the idea of a woman with a penis. Also Tit Fucking never reached 1st to people but, because it turns up constantly, ends up with high marks. Again I feel Tit Fucking is overrated but it's not according to the polls. Proof you can never trust a critic's opinion over the census (my own votes highly contest what's shown here). Bukakke only got 1st twice. I also added in 'One and Only''s top 5 twice (old and new) but not the 6-10 ones. Some people voted similiar catagories and thus only the top vote was counted. Those who suggested 'in no particular order' were all given a '3rd' for averaging reasons. Hopefully I've accounted most of these votes carefully ^_^

So the lowest score would be 2 (a 5th and one person voted). If all 50 people were to have voted something first then the highest possible score would be 300. On estimation about 50 people voted, but it varies of course.

Notable fact: nobody said Lolicon, Scat, or Piss...the only mention was Zephos saying he HATED it. Good reason then to prevent this stuff from materialising.

The only catch is I need your help. One person cannot simply be an expert of erotic material. That's why I'd like you guys to see if I've missed out anyone important to be on the list. Here's who I have so far:

Please state whom I have missed out. Sometime, in the future, I hope to give some sort of rating to define how their style matches with expectations, their current status (people like Sensei, The Drunken Monk, and Dogmeat/Fenrir have retired. JeffWebb unfortunately passed away in the early 90s), and what we expect from them in the future (guys like BlackToe are new so have all the room to improve in the years to come whereas lino300v has been going since the early 90s). We all know guys like Julius Zimmerman, Azasuke, and PBx are great artists but are they really any better than BlackToe if he does a Bukakke picture and they do, say, Incest? It's an interesting point on reputation and PR.

I've excluded contributing areas like 4chan, VGB, WWOEC, etc...it's the artists I'm interested in. They have to be known for it, rather than one-time events (such as VGCats). Niches are likely excluded as well. Child-related art (stuff by Itomic/Cry Angel Shinaboo) are excluded. Manipulators and Colorists are also excluded.
I've also tended to restrict traditional 'Anime Hentai' styles as I frown upon it as an overused style. As a result those responsible for the famous hentai movies like 'La Blue Girl', 'Viper GTS', and 'Bible Black' are excluded. I think those sections of viral media should be included somewhere, as I've put ZONE in for example, but I'd prefer to vouch on others knowing rather than myself. Make no mistake they should have a place when this is re-organised.
There are DOZENS of Doujinshi artists I've left out...from NightHead's creator to the Model series. Saigado makes the list because he's very influential in both Western and Eastern circles.

EDIT: The top 3 audiences for hentai are Japanese, Spanish, and English, in this order I believe. Italians are quite high, as are Brazilians, but since this is a highly English forum even this will generate bias. Frank Chavez - Another of the rarities of the net...this guy was also big on comic erotica. Check him out...although the site may be defunct now. I remember he was on johnathonhentai...and others...but yeah. About 60 odd pictures of bliss.

Ambivalent E - Responsible for the 3D efforts of Tifa/Yuffie. They also have 2 earlier CGs. A great designer!

Scarlet's Sanctum - Another 3D artist, of comics, which seems to be a favourite of mine. Anyways she did a comic involving Scarlet Witch and Magik. A VERY good find indeed. Some of the later work, though, doesn't scale up (although the Wasp/Ant-Man piece was pretty good, as was the Wonder Woman bit).
